Since the business opened in September 2002, Mr. Anderson has personally managed both the front and back end of the business ensuring that Potter's Computer Systems, LLC provides exemplary delivery services for computers, laptops and mobile devices, recovery processes, reimaging and upgrades while providing setup services for PCs, Laptops and Networking Systems to meet the needs within all individual, small, medium-sized businesses, private homes and walk-ins.
Committed to Technology Excellence
While working my business, I taught a year and volunteered for 7 years at Heyward Career Technology and Technology Center as an Advanced Computer Tech Instructor, teaching PC repair for hardware/software, reimaging and upgrades, rebuilding computers while allowing students hands-on experience in becoming involved with the process. This prepared these students for the testing required to obtain their Cisco Network Academy Certification. We took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the competition.
During a summer program at the Solomon Jackson Jr Foundation, I was an Educational Consultant and I created a curriculum and schedule for at-risk youths to further pursuing their education in the industry Certified Cisco Training.
For the past 5 years, I have been volunteering at ATEC in Kershaw County teaching students on obtaining their Cisco Network Academy Certification in the Fundamentals of Hardware and Software. While assisting Mr. Taylor at ATEC, students were fully prepared to obtaining their A+ Certification prior to graduating from high school. For these efforts, I was awarded with the Business Partner of the Year Award (Thomas Anderson with Potter's Computer Systems Award), sponsored by the Central Carolina Technical College.
